The Adonis Touch by Romy Gemmell - second novella in The Aphodite and Adonis series.

'In the skilful hands of the author, Cyprus itself is a character, assaulting the senses and evoking the romance played out in this delightful novella.'

LOSING PENNY, by Kristy Tate
5.0 out of 5 stars Charming
Kristy Tate writes charmingly and this book was a pleasure to read. I loved the chemistry between Penny and Drake and the sparkling dialogue between them and the other characters. A quirky story with a lot of heart and a few unexpected twists.

One Dance with a Stranger - by Mary M. Forbes
Khamneithang Vaiphei rated it 4 of 5 stars
Shelves: reviews
One Dance with a Stranger by Mary M. Forbes is a scintillating and mesmerizing story of the difficulties in everyday life and love. It is the unlikely love story of two diametrically opposite persons and how they overcome their personal hardships, and find meaning and purpose in life through each other’s company. It is the story of Emily Van Sheldon, a runaway orphan who is living on the streets, finally finding comfort and not necessarily happiness, and how her life takes yet another turn for better or worse.

Mary M. Forbes’ One Dance with a Stranger is the story of a singer whose violent reaction to his wife’s infidelity lands him in jail for three years, and how his heart melted when he saw Emily in person. Wade Hart may be violent but he has a heart of gold. And Emily is a woman with a past. But once they come face to face, they have a thing going for each other. But is there a future for them? Mary M. Forbes skillful writing with a plot that is unpredictable is sure to keep you absorbed into this wonderful story

SNAP: All That Jazz, Book Eight of the Kandesky Vampire Chronicles.
" I loved all of the Kandesky books but there is love and there is LOVE, and this one I LOVED. "
Paranormal Romance Guild reviewer, 5 Stars
Blurb:Nik and Jazz, both employees of Kandesky Enterprises and passionate lovers, are having a tumultuous time. Are their differences too great? She's a contemporary, hip, young career woman working in the fast-changing world of celebrity gossip journalism in Los Angeles. He's a 500-year old vampire living in Kiev, Ukraine and running the Kandesky Munitions factories. She deals with celebs and sun, he deals with terrorists and dark.
Is their overpowering attraction enough to build a life-long future, or will their relationship fizzle out before Maxie's and Jean-Louis' wedding, dying faster than a Fourth of July sparkler?

Self's Blossom is a story that should be in the Tate Gallery, were the Tate a gallery for literature as opposed to art.

5***** "The Bidding" one story in "Loves, Myths, and Monsters"

Review: This was a very worthwhile book and it was very diverse. The stories ranged from romance to myths, legends and monsters both human and nonhuman.

Reviewed by: Linda Tonis

Does it have something to do with the Mayan religion and beliefs? Will Duncan survive? Or will he be one of the casualties? This was a very suspenseful story and had a very interesting ending.
