Maybe it was her tranquil personality that attracted him to her. Or maybe it was because, in a way, she'd been sliced and diced, and spread around until there was nothing left. She understood what it was like to lose something, and what it is like to try and hold onto what is dear to the heart.

A New England, small town romance about second chances.

A HEAT OF THE MOMENT THING - a romantic comedy with serious undertones.

"We've bumped into each other a few times," he said.

As in gentle bumper-to-bumper whoopsie? Or something more head-on, fatalities-involved-ish?

From Midwinter Masquerade by Romy Gemmell - set in Scotland 1816

The touch of her hand on his arm during their short walk in the gardens had reminded him forcefully of his attraction for the girl Lenora had been and the even more beautiful, alluring woman she had become. If that one merest encounter was indication of his deeply hidden desire, he would never let her go without doing everything in his power to win her affections once more.

From my WIP Call Me Cowboy:

A sweet ass ground against his cock.
In the predawn light, Johnny Cortez couldn’t make out the woman next to him although a familiar fruity perfume filled his senses. The girl wiggled until his dick jumped in response.

From my NA contemporary romance – A Guy and A Girl
Hunter scratched his head with his pen, and then checked to see which end he'd used and said, "What's the stupidest thing you've ever done?"
"Kissed Roger Camps on the lips in seventh grade."
"Lucky guy and that leads to the next questions which is why was that stupid?"

The heat from his body sent a shiver of arousal through her. “Let go, Zane.”

“You need to leave, Ravyn. Now.”

She gazed at Millie fearing the clairvoyant woman would see the lie in Keara's eyes. But she couldn't tell her, tell any of them, the truth.

Excerpt from The Falls: A Fantasy Romance Story
by Anna Durand

A naked man was sprinting down the path away from me. He swerved right, vaulted over the wooden railing meant to deter people from doing exactly what he was doing, and landed squarely on the rock ledge at the base of the cliff. He ran toward the falls and flung himself straight into the tumbling water.

Chapter Thirty-two:

Dontoya emerged from the shower, dried himself thoroughly, then slung a towel around his hips. He glanced toward his yellow pine chest of drawers. The early morning light from his bedroom's east-facing window slanted across the top, sparkling the Ring of Union.

I eased her chin up and she looked into my eyes. “We are one heart.” I kissed her and relished in the sweetness of her mouth for we could do little else with company.

"Maybe there are other details of my personal life you’d like to discuss. Perhaps you want to know my bra size or maybe my bank account balance, though I’ve got to warn you, neither is very big. Go ahead, ask me anything.”
