A RANCHER'S WOMAN
By E. Ayers

From an Amazon reader:

A superb story, conflict, and characters so believable you root for them!

Don't let the word 'historical' put you off. These are men and women who jump off the page, a wild west story where right and wrong were strongly delineated, and where the starvation of Indians confined to reservations was sadly common in winter. If you enjoy a novel where the author develops characters, and the characters learn as they experience life, you will not be disappointed. This the BEST historical novel I have read in a long time. I love it because it treats the Crow Nation as individuals, which of course they were. And at its heart it the story of one woman's duty to her parents' choices for her, and her choices for three young orphans. A total joy to read.

SKATER'S WALTZ by Peggy Jaeger
"I’m so glad I set aside an entire evening to read this book. Ms. Jaeger skillfully drew me into the lives of figure skater Tiffany Lennox and roving journalist Cole Greer and kept me hooked until the end (well beyond the midnight hour). An excellent storyteller, Ms. Jaeger excels at descriptive detail and smooth-flowing dialogue.

Next, please!"

A Mighty Good Man by Rebecca E. Neely

5 Star review from an Amazon reader:

"This book was an action-packed 5 star read. I was pulled into the story from the first page and just could not put it down. All of the characters were written extremely well. There were some edge of my seat moments, and some super hot sexy moments… There was a surprising amount of depth in this short read...a must read for anyone who enjoys romantic suspense, and I am looking forward to seeing what this new author has in store in the future."

A review for my latest gay action-mystery HUNTER'S POINT, by a reader I know only as "Bo":

I was stunned by how she has turned what has so far been a sensuous, sometimes out-of-control, always adventurous but sometimes ambiguous relationship between two seriously alpha males ... into a rough riding, deeply personal, violently nasty adventure, plus an exquisite love story for our time, if not for the ages.

Let's get something straight (oops!) from the start: Ms. Quinn has an almost completely unique ability capture the ground, and eras, of all her books, whether in early 20th Century Ireland, Dark Ages Ireland and Britain, contemporary western United States and Scotland. In this case, she admits she has never visited Scotland--well, I would think she would be hired instantly by the Tourist Board there because this one rolls over the dunes and fields and through the city of Perth like a completely delightful travelogue.

But, I digress. This one takes us way deeper into the until now hidden psyches of Alex and Rory...you have to read the book to find out, but don't worry--this one starts as if she strikes a match and then lights a long winding fuse to the pyre of desire, among other things.

This plotline is wicked, filled with evil, engrossing, and redeeming all at once. But through it all, our tall and broad and handsome and hot and completely oversexed protagonists find new meaning in the meanings of life and love. They are a pair for the ages, and this book has the potential to spin off at least one, and possibly two, characters into a series of their own if Ms. Quinn wants to light another match. Poof!

DEATH LEGACY received a number of excellent editorial reviews as well as reader reviews. Here is part of one:

“In this entertaining novel of romantic suspense from Seewald (Tea Leaves and Tarot Cards), international PI Michelle Hallam looks into the mysterious death of CIA agent James Parker, the estranged husband of her New York City cousin, Nora Parker. After referring the depressed Nora to Dr. Daniel Reiner, Michelle finds that the handsome, charming psychiatrist is too love-struck to leave her alone… This thriller keeps moving from its very first pages, while the palpable sexual tension between new cohorts Daniel and Michelle fortifies the story's intrigue with romance.”

My fantasy romance, PASSION'S SACRED DANCE, received this fine reader's review:

"What grabbed me as soon as I started to read was the hero, Aaron Fielding by name -- one of the most fascinating men I’ve had the pleasure of encountering between the pages of a book...There are old secrets to be uncovered, battles to be fought, and more than one Harshad warrior over whom to drool. My advice? Just sit back and enjoy the wild ride! I’ll bet by the end you, too, will want your own Harshad warrior!" _Laura, reading on Amazon.

Thank you for this!!! My Sci-fi adventure received this as one of its first reviews:

"Dry Land is a trip to a place that is at the same time both familiar and delightfully, enthralling-ly new. Seidler doesn't slowly approach the story, leading you into it on foot, describing things and giving the reader a roadmap. Instead, she drops you right into the action, in the very best way. In the first scene, your heart will be in your throat, and you might even squeeze out a few tears, and from there, the roller-coaster action only gets better."

Another lovely opportunity. Reviews are starting to appear for my new regency-style, Daisy's Dilemma. Here's part of a teriffic one by Tina Williams:
At the start of the tale Daisy is a young lady of nineteen, trying to secure her place in the adult world and doing her best to meet society’s expectations that she marry. The book spans several years and I liked how Daisy grew in poise and confidence, especially towards Reuben and how she deals with a number of rather difficult relatives.

Reuben, a distant cousin of Daisy, is a fascinating and cultured character, but more than a trifle outspoken and unconventional and I could well understand Daisy’s attraction, however much she fights it! Reuben plays his cards very close to his chest and is not above using his charms to manipulate Daisy to influence her choice of suitor and conceal from her the rather sinister plot that threatens her. At the same time Daisy attempts to match Reuben with her cousin Elspeth, believing that they are a perfect match. Elspeth too is in danger and Reuben and Daisy’s brother Tobias have their work cut out to protect both women and thwart their enemies.

The read is full of wit and drama and is delightfully written. I especially loved how the romance between Daisy and Reuben unfolds. The sexual tension between the couple is ever present in their body language and their verbal sparring, and the scenes between them are superb.

The novel is very well researched and the plot beautifully orchestrated in terms of dialogue, the social mores of the day and the author’s clever plotting. It will appeal to readers of traditional Regency Romance. A copy of this book was given to me by the author for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

6 DAYS OF YOU by Sophia Ryan
Snowbound over fall break, two heartbroken strangers find warmth and comfort in each other. Before it’s over, they’ll have to find the courage to face the love rising from the ashes of their blazing week of sex.

4 STARS -- Reviewed by Rachel's Willful Thoughts for TheRomanceReviews.com

Think of the most bizarre example of mistaken identity and it won't even come close to the scenario that author Sophia Ryan has put together in SIX DAYS OF YOU.

Lily decides to surprise her boyfriend with a visit, only to discover he is out of town. With very little money, coupled with a massive snowstorm, Lily has to stay in her boyfriend's dorm room. The only problem is her boyfriend's roommate, Darryl.

As the snow piles up outside, the temperature heats up between the two. What follows is a passionate encounter as Lily waits for her sister to pick her up. The story includes snippets from each person's viewpoint. This provides an added level of depth to the storyline.

Although the events are focused on the span of six days, the author packs in plenty of surprises for the reader. The chemistry between the two characters is well developed with a nice bit of heat added.

Nothing is as it seems in this story, which makes it hit high on the memorable list.

A QUESTION OF HONOR by Mona Karel
Karel is one of my favorite authors, and this book doesn't disappoint. One of the things I like best about her work is that her characters, both male and female, are not the "mass produced" incredibly beautiful hunks and hotties we see so much in romance fiction today. Karel's characters feel like real people and the obstacles they face are tough, intriguing, and complicated. ..Karel brings an authenticity to her characters that pulls you in and tugs at your heartstrings page after page

LOOKING FOR CHARLOTTE by Jennifer Young
http://tirgearrpublishing.com/authors/Young_Jennifer/looking-for-charlotte.htm

What an absolutely incredible book!! I couldn't put it down. Jennifer Young has written a phenomenal novel that covers several genres at once: literary fiction, suspense, contemporary fiction, with some romance…

The novel is so well written that interweaving the two stories and the hunt for Charlotte becomes something the reader becomes engaged in as well.

The author writes a truly realistic story of an incident that occurs more often than we realize. She also has such realistic characters and story lines in regard to Flora and Charlotte's mother that the reader finds them highly relatable on several different levels.

With a twist at the end that many are not expecting and some may be, Jennifer Young brings this amazing and absolutely engaging novel to a strong and satisfactory conclusion.

I highly recommend this novel to all readers. It is definitely one of those books you don't want to miss or have sitting on your TBR pile for too long.

Here is an Amazon review from my medieval time travel For All of Ever: The Knights of Berwyck, A Quest Through Time Novel by Sherry Ewing

Impeccably Written and Extremely Creative! Must read....!!!!
By Tiffany Reid - Have You Heard Book

“Wow! After reading Sherry's first novel, If My Heart Could See You, I didn't think it could get any better. How wrong I was. I love historical novels, especially when time travel is involved and Sherry Ewing does not disappoint in this exciting and impeccably written novel of time travel. Meet Katherine and Riorden, who have dreamed of each other for years .... I don't do spoilers, so you'll have to read this one to see how this amazing story of love and hope unravels. Time separates these two by centuries and the way Sherry writes their love story is fascinating, to say the least. I love the way her stories include those from her other books, so in ways it is a bit of an epilogue from If My Heart Could See You (which was incredible, by the way!). This is a must read historical time travel novel and I strongly recommend this wonderful journey of words that Sherry magically creates into a phenomenal book, For All of Ever.”

No Time For Green Bananas by Charmaine Gordon
Great Reading
By LAS Reviewer
Delightful, heartwarming and unexpected, No Time for Green Bananas delivers a older main character still yearning for adventure – and still with something to learn about life and friendship.

Celeste Hamlin’s suffered a loss but she’s tough. She sets off to re-traverse an old and wonderful adventure; alone this time, not entirely strong enough, but determined. Unexpected help crops up along the way, but she can’t let herself rely on others, can’t waste time on friendship, can’t imagine forward to much future.

Paul is patient and endearing but she isn’t looking for any future relationship here; in fact, she seems to be determined to live in the past. Yet, Paul is hard to ignore:

“A lone guitarist played acoustic guitar over in a corner. Jazz renditions of old songs. Beautiful and so interesting on that kind of instrument. Softly he sang, “It seems we’ve stood and talked like this before…”

Readers will fall for Paul and so hope that Celeste will stop telling herself things like “Absurd you foolish old woman” and allow herself a chance.

Kudos to the publisher here. The author definitely stepped outside the box on the character and storyline. No Time For Green Bananas is a real gem of a short story that will delight romance fans and especially more mature readers.

Eve's Rescue: Coalition Mates 3
Review by: Exquisite Reviews

Eve’s Rescue Review:
I have enjoyed the previous books in this series but this has been my favorite so far. In my humble opinion author Sarah Marsh has grown so much as an author with this book.
Eve and her friend are out commiserating getting fired and they trust the wrong person. Eve is drugged and taken from the club to another world. When Eve wakes up she realizes that she is in for the ride of her life. Kai Dallen and Roan Quinn are two pirates that have been caught red handed on a Pharaoh’s ship. Khaman-Ra hires them as his head of security for their skills and maybe a little more. When they meet Eve everything changes for the better and then some.
I liked the dynamic all four of them had with each other. Even though Eve is confused at first she fell right into her new role making sure she let her new husband’s know who’s the BOSS. Eve meets her tutor/buddy Matty (Mhat-Am) and with him around she is able to learn about their culture and traditions. I enjoyed many aspects of this book but lord have mercy on me was that oil scene HOT. Author Sarah Marsh wrote a sex scene that made you wish you could jump in and bask in the glory that is essentials oils. This scene was well written and goes to show that with great writing even foreplay can get you off…

Ella's Gifts - Romantic Suspense - 5 Star Review

Melody Jerva has created a Romantic Thriller that delivers on multiple levels. Her character development of the heroine and hero, Ella and Rett, was comprehensive and paced well with the plot and story line. I was drawn into the mind of Ella, the main character, throughout the story. Mrs. Jerva's visceral descriptions of Ella's fears and longings drew me further and further into the soul of the character. Rett, as well, was sequenced into the story appropriately with backstory added smoothly without interruption of the flow of conflicts and romantic progression. I was held in suspense until the end of the book and very much enjoyed the twists and turns that were engineered into the final act. Jess as a secondary and supporting character was likewise well timed and added a dimension to Ella's story that can only be communicated by a friend and confidant. I will certainly look for more Melody Jerva books and was excited to have the opportunity, as a fellow author, to present this review.
