Okay, Rose will slap my fingers for for going over word count! But most reviews read like this one:

I never expected a sweet romance to keep me up late at night reading, but this one did.

Chessie Chesterfield is a woman on the move: a sharp-dressed nomad from South Carolina who travels the country reviewing bed-and-breakfasts. She's happy with her career and knows who she is and what she expects from life. But when her car breaks down outside of Creeds Crossing, Wyoming, everything is turned upside down.

She is taken to stay at the Lazy A + 8 ranch, and there she meets former bull rider Derrick McCullough. The tall handsome cowboy literally sweeps her off her feet, and steals her heart even as she steals his.

But their love doesn't have an easy time of it. When Chessie inadvertently re-injures Derrick's damaged leg (the one that took him out of the rodeo business and into prescription drug abuse years before) she is tormented by guilt. They say au revoir and she resumes her journeys. Will her heart lead her back to him, or will she just keep wandering?

Populated by an incredibly endearing cast of characters (I fell in love with each of them, in different ways) and full of real-life complications that we can all relate to, A Cowboy's Kiss in Wyoming is truly a sweet romance that renews faith in happy endings.

SKATER'S WALTZ by Peggy Jaeger

"I’m so glad I set aside an entire evening to read this book. Ms. Jaeger skillfully drew me into the lives of figure skater Tiffany Lennox and roving journalist Cole Greer and kept me hooked until the end (well beyond the midnight hour). An excellent storyteller, Ms. Jaeger excels at descriptive detail and smooth-flowing dialogue.

Next, please!"

I lovelovelove that she finished it in one evening.

From the latest review for my brand-new release:

"A heartwarming tale, A RANCHER OF HER OWN, the second book in author Barbara White Daille's THE HITCHING POST HOTEL series, is an emotion-packed, sexy contemporary romance, which is sure to touch the hearts of its readers. I enjoyed watching the romance develop between Pete and Jane as they struggle with the powerful chemistry that keeps pulling them together. The children take the appeal of the novel to a new level, especially Rachel, who suffers from her mother's neglect and wants nothing more than a mother of her own. Her happiness at being included in the wedding activities with the women is so heartwarming while some of her scenes will elicit a giggle or two as she believes she knows what's best for the other children and has no problem expressing it. I also loved Jed's machinations to get his granddaughters married off while still keeping them closer to home.

"As a huge fan of Ms. Daille's inspiring, heartwarming novels, I always look forward to her next book. I have never been disappointed by any of her works and this one is no exception as she takes readers from heartache to joy in a small town setting with all the risks, tears and laughter along the way. This story demonstrates once more why Ms. Daille is one of my favorite authors. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy today! Definitely a must read!"

The Highland Lass by Rosemary Gemmell

"This is an accomplished novel, where the dual romances are deftly and sympathetically handled. The love affair between Robert Burns and Highland Mary and the modern day romance between Eilidh and Lewis are skilfully balanced and each acts as counterpoint to the other, with well-drawn characters and an engrossing plot.

By using the first person for the chapters with Highland Mary and the third person for the chapters with Eilidh, the author adds an extra dimension to the differentiation of register to ensure the characters are quite distinct.

The descriptions of the various places Eilidh visits in her quest are well drawn and many readers will readily identify with the various locations.

I very much enjoyed the main romance, but found the story of Highland Mary and Robert Burns particularly touching and, although fiction, it cast an interesting light on an episode in the life of Scotland's national poet."

STOLEN HEARTS - Book 1
I found the mix of elements [mystery, suspense, and romance] for this book to be an intriguing read.

The book is riddled with secrets each of the characters are keeping from one another. Crystal and Ruby are sisters who have embarked on a life of crime in order to eventually regain the lives they once had, they’re perpetually looking for evidence to accomplish their goal.

My heart almost skipped a beat when Crystal gets thrusted into a blind date with Kade, the detective who is investigating the crimes she has committed with her sister. At the same time Kade is searching for some way to forgive himself for the death of one of his former partners.
Paul, Kade’s new partner is engaged to marry Ruby, Crystal’s sister; how’s that for a coincidence.

Ms. Cooper, in her book, seems to be peeling the various layers of an onion which the storyline contains in the almost vivid history of her characters as she brings them up to the present with the emotions they’ve felt she has given her readers.

Calling it "sparkling and passionate," Alex Akira (Rainbow Book Reviews) critiqued HEART TO HART, my first of four eventual Gaslight Mysteries:

This is a fantastic story! There is a mystery: who killed Simon’s partner in his investigation firm? There is romance: will Michael, who is far too knowledgeable to be the lower-class lout he appears, win the heart of reluctant, closeted, grieving Simon? There are motorbike rides, captures and rescues, a femme fatale, and a lovely pair of pint-sized helpers that brought to mind the gang of pickpockets in Oliver Twist. But best of all there is a skillful, beautiful reveal of the hidden charms and talents of each of the lead characters, that caused me to fall in love with them, as they navigate from fury to fragile trust to tenderness and love.

Michael and Simon are without a doubt one of the best pairings I’ve come across in a while and I’m so glad that Erin O’Quinn has penned a sequel to this story. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that the period scenery supports the story fully, bringing to mind an almost steampunk atmosphere with dank alleys, gaslit streets, foggy rains, and crisp greenery. I swear I could smell the smoke and whiskey saturated air of the Silver Hind, the Irish pub above which the two men reside. The sex was hot, frequent, and very much lent an air of realism to this captivating and wondrous tale.

Thank you, Erin O’Quinn, for creating this exquisite pair of lovers and this adventurous, swiftly-paced mystery. “Steamy, Sharp, Sexy!”

This is Katandra Jackson Nunnally's review of Jareth, First Lord

"It matters not the time nor place. Past, present, future. This lifetime or the next. This planet or another world entirely. We women have always possessed our very own unique voices. Even embedded deep within a book entitled 'Jareth, First Lord'! Full of fire and determination, desires and willfulness, thoughts, feelings and opinions wrought with emotions. The very thing that society is afraid of. We have been silently submissive way too long. Viviane appears in 'Jareth, First Lord' so full of life. She won't go without a fight. Her voice will be heard and with such an extraordinary gift, she demands to be obeyed... Even if she doesn't know it.

Set in a fantastical, futuristic, historical, other worldly setting, 'Jareth, First Lord' is bound to take you on a trip of your imaginations' lifetime."

Recent review for Proving Ground, by Stanalei Fletcher:

Non-stop Excitement - A Must Read for Action-Lovers!

The excitement is non-stop from start to finish. From the very start, the heroine Caitlyn is on a mission which she screwed up. Then, she stumbled upon a terrorist plot, which she sees as a way of redeeming herself.

The psychology of how Smith, the terrorist, recruited Dunn to help him is brilliantly portrayed. The suspense in the entire story is brilliant and fantastic.

I was practically on the edge of my seat the entire time. I continue turning the pages frantically, wondering what's going to happen to Caitlin and Mac, and whether the villain will succeed and start a biological outbreak.

A must-read for action-lovers!

Seeking Redemption (Emerging From Darkness Book 2)
by J.M. Maurer

"Get ready for sigh-worthy romance, two people, coming through the worst of the storm and surviving, thriving and growing closer every single day. Seeking Redemption by J. M. Maurer will make a romantic out of even the most cynical among us. Each scene, including Jessica’s bad day and her fight to overcome them are so well-written and feel so real, you’ll be hard-pressed to put this tale of romance down and return to reality.

Once again, J. M. Maurer brings her characters to life and covers each page with a testimony to the power of true love, but is the world finished with Matthew and Jessica? Can their love survive another vicious mind out to hurt them? Will their love be tested and survive even stronger? More brightness, more happiness and more love, written as only J. M. Maurer can do!"

STAR CRUISE: MAROONED (only 99 cents!)
Goodreads review by Merry: Now, this is how to make the perfect Science Fiction Romance recipe - just the right quantity and balance of essential ingredients, mixed to perfection! Action, adventure, yummy man (or woman, depending on your taste), excellent world building, a surprise or two, some seriously icky aliens and, yes, sexy-hot moments. It kind of reminded me a bit of some of the more...err...fantastic Fantasy Island TV series episodes that I enjoyed back in the day, but without the hot action of course. I really liked the variety of well-drawn secondary characters, who all make interesting contributions to the fast-paced plot in this fairly short but very gratifying read..."

WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS by Joan Fleming

Beautiful Island Setting - Review by Marjorette

Sandy and Amy are in a Romeo and Juliet situation, caught in the middle of a long-standing family feud – not in Verona though but on the beautiful Isle of Mull off Scotland’s west coast. Not only that but a building development apparently approved by Sandy will spoil the island and Amy’s view of Iona. Amy remembers the kiss she and Sandy shared when they were teenagers but now there’s Amy’s partner Matt in the picture … an enjoyable novel with a great sense of place.

FOR THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE by Fiona McGier

Review by Harlie's Books.

Holy Crap! I think I just read the best book of the year. Yep, I did. This book had it all. From the opening page to the last page, I was put on an emotional journey of a man that people thought wouldn’t amount to much and the one woman that changed his outlook on life and found a permanent place in his heart.
Again, there is so much going on in the book but at the same time there isn’t. Ms. McGier doesn’t crowd the book with unnecessary characters but every character in the book has a role to play with Raul and Ronnie’s love story. Yes, this book is a love story, pure and simple...
I’m not sure that I have really conveyed how much I loved Raul and Ronnie’s story. It as simplistic in nature but also poignant. I found Raul’s journey one that most enduring, at times hilarious and sweet.
Don’t miss out on this book. Oh and just to tease you…the epilogue was EPIC!!!! Didn’t see that coming at all…. *faints*

CAPTIVE OF THE CATTLE BARON (Selkirk Family Ranch Book 1) by Irene Vartanoff

Can Beauty Tame the Beast? Review by Dii, Top 500 Amazon Reviewer, Tome Tender Book Blog

"... very well written, has a great flow with dialogue that runs from humorous to downright brutal, completely spot on for realism. Her characters are a bit different though, Addie is a strong-willed woman who verbally is Baron’s match, but her bosom heaving attraction to her captor is a little scary. Baron is unhappy with his current lot in life, and selfishly is taking it out on everyone around him, including Addie. What sparks their physical desires? I will agree that Irene Vartanoff did a wonderful job with her special blend of spice and heat, loved it, actually, but the bond forming between these two seemed a little uncomfortable for me. She is keeping secrets, he is keeping secrets, she has no reason to be ashamed of her past and he has been severely damaged by his.

Because of Irene Vartanoff’s way with words, I look forward to more in this series that will hopefully give us more face time with some of the characters, but I do hope the characters will be more emotionally stable. But then, this is love and love knows no limits."

"Cora Ramos is a gifted storyteller. Period. I initially wanted to read Dance the Dream Awake because I love Mayan culture. The mystery of it. The way that region seems to have frozen in time. Ramos captures it beautifully on the page. Her description of the pyramids and culture is spot-on, but she doesn't stop there. Tessa is believable and driven as she attempts to unravel the mystery of her strange dreams, all while dealing with her inability to trust men or believe in love. Loved it."

Rose of Crimson is an intriguing tale of love with a three hundred year old aristocratic hero, a modern day college student, and telepathic journeys back to his previous life in Croatia. Ms. Jelic does a flawless job of flipping us from modern day to his past and back so I was never confused or needing to check back through pages. The romance is sensual without being erotic and I really loved the two main characters. Ms. Jelic also captured the loneliness of the foreign student struggling in a Canadian college. I read the entire book in a day, enjoying the writer’s style and needing to know what was going to happen next

Review of Money Power and Poison "A darn good read."
Can love survive against the odds?
Business owner, Kathryn Carlyle, has a tremendous shock when billionaire software developer Connor Harrison drops dead at the party she's catered. The police consider her a "person of interest." In other words, they tell her in no uncertain terms - don't leave town. It's the last thing they say when they drop her off after interrogating her for hours. Then if the day isn't bad enough, some wacko in a truck almost runs her over and doesn't bother to stick around to see if she survives. Holt Rand, an out-of-work reporter sent by her uncle, arrives on the scene and rescues her. From this point on her life spirals out of control and getting the story is what keeps her only friend close. This book has it all. Fast-paced, plot-driven conflicts and characters that you can't tear yourself away lift it from an ordinary story to a darn good read.
