Join me on WIP Wednesdays and post some lines from your current WIP. This week, my topic is plot twists.

Or meet my featured courtesan, concubine, or prostitute on Wanton Weekends.

Those are my regular features, plus I also post about writing and my books, I have guests, and I occasionally write (or co-write) short stories and flash fiction.

We're talking about gratefulness on the blog hop this week. I'm grateful for the many people who have contributed to my life. You can see my post at http://pjmaclayne.blogspot.com/2015/10/what-im-grateful-for-open-book-blog-hop.html

I sure love to laugh, especially with my family and friends. Sharing laughter with loved ones is the best. We tease one another and poke fun just a little, and everyone knows there’s love behind it. Fun times. Because the world needs more laughs, I’m doing a blog series on satire for the next few days. Come have a laugh on me. :)

I was travelling through the city in a bus this morning when I encountered a man wearing a bow-tie. That set me thinking about bare bones and how a writer covers them. Clothes are so important to a character. A little thought for my day on my Novels Now blog, here:

The Author Roast and Toast is a 'fun' blog where we hold a virtual party for our guest author on a Friday. We have vacancies for the rest of October and November - if you would like a spot email me at Lyn@hywelalyn.co.uk
We only do post on Fridays, although they do tend to run over the weekend. All we ask is that the guest author offers a small prize - usually a download but it can be what you like. To get an idea of what we do check out

The past couple of months have been exciting and hectic times for me as I prepared author swag to take to two international conferences. My first foray into author signings is covered (briefly!) in my post "A-Conferencing We Will Go".
