From my Victorian Gothic novella, Mischief at Mulberry Manor by Romy Gemmell

At first, the corridor appeared empty in the dim light and Maryanne sighed in relief. No doubt the talk of ghosts played on her mind and woke her from a dream. She had no sooner decided to return to her room when a movement caught the corner of her eye and she quickly turned back to the length of corridor.

From WARM HEARTS IN WINTER, only 0.99 until the end of November at: Amazon viewBook.at/WarmHeartsInWinter and Barnes & Noble:

Desperate to set off before the weather deteriorated, she'd packed in such a hurry she'd probably forgotten half of what she needed, and she'd been driving for two hours through conditions that only got worse by the minute. She wasn't sure her ageing car could take much more.

This little piece of dialogue is from my contemporary novella CHILL OUT, which releases January 4, 2016. Renata has just pushed snow in Noah's face and tried to make a run for it, but he catches her:

“I should dunk you in the snow for that!”

“But you won’t. You’re too much of a gentleman.”

“You’d be surprised how ungentlemanly I feel right now.”

Thanks!
