For WARM HEARTS IN WINTER, still only 0.99 at Amazon: viewBook.at/WarmHeartsInWinter (and Barnes & Noble)
"Warm Hearts in Winter is just delightful. It wraps itself around you like a blanket, leaving you with a warm heart of your own. A gorgeous romance, with two main characters that you can’t help but love. A hint of mystery. A beautiful and deeply romantic location. I absolutely loved this book."

From Teach Me To Forget, contemporary romance
"Teach Me To Forget is a true-love story. It is not only the tale of two people learning to love one another; it is the story of two troubled human beings learning to love themselves.
While the psychological focus of the story-line is on Bethany and the hurt done to her by the fearsome events of her youth, Jonathan, it turns out, has scars of his own (some of them quite deep) that need healing. It is through setting himself aside in a deep-seated need to heal this strange woman who has suddenly possessed so much of his life that he fully realizes the depth of his own damage.
When Jonathan discovers that he was, himself, a key contributor to the emotional wounds Bethany bears, the depth of his own pain becomes a reality, and his determination to help her solidifies.
In healing Bethany, he opens up to allowing her to heal him as well.
If you love stories that delve into the true nature of who we are, and the many complicated ways in which we relate to each other, I'm sure you will enjoy Teach Me To Forget."

Ironically, I have just posted a "thank you" on my FB wall to Scott Burkett for his soul-tearing review of my novella BURNS TOO DEEP. A review of gay men by a gay man ... and one who does not easily award top grades.
~
This may sound a bit cheesy but this book gets “deep” into your soul. Erin is another master of the written word and a real joy to read. I have to say this book was really hard to write a review for, when I get so emotionally involved in a book the way I was when reading Burns Too Deep, I have a hard time translating that to word. I just want to be sure that I do justice by the book.
… I’m not a fan of inner dialog, in fact I really hate (hate may be to strong of word) it when reading, BUT this is different. I actually enjoyed hearing the thoughts of the character, in this book it really worked and believe it or not it was necessary for the illusion of each of the characters to be kept intact until the moment when some of those walls could come down.
Mystery is a big part of this book and Erin really keeps you on your toes as she uses mystery to surround her characters and also the mystery of the action in the book. Erin has blended together a truly remarkable story and before you think I may have forgotten, the sexual bits are stimulating.
Highly recommended and well deserving of a 5 star from me.

A Long Trail Rolling
by
Lizzi Tremayne
Apart from having a tender romance at its core, it is full of intriguing and fascinating facts woven in with the fiction. Lizzi Tremayne obviously knows what she is talking about, her extensive research and knowledge make this almost like reading an exciting documentary – except that the characters are so well drawn the reader can’t help but relate to them and suffer with them on their journey, especially Alex herself. I love the way the horses are also characters in their own right. As a horse lover myself I was pleased that Aleks really cared about the horses she rode, and the description of each horse makes them come to life – especially Scout the black ‘Appy’. I used to know a black Appaloosa stallion, and Scout could have been modeled on him. As might be expected from an author who has the equestrian and veterinary experience and qualifications Liz has, the details about the horses, their tack and treatment of wounds etc., were convincingly written with an air of authenticity that made the story totally believable. This book is full of surprises and even the villain is not quite what he seems. The story kept me guessing all the way.
Thanks for Reading!

Hello one and all! Looking for an exciting read unlike anything you've ever read before? A family saga, epic, women's fiction/mainstream and contemporary? My debut novel, Shattered Lies was just released on Oct. 24th, 2015. Thanks for your support! Cheers! S.J. Francis
She wants to know the truth, but some secrets might be better left alone…
Kate Thayer has a good life as a veterinarian, running the family horse farm—until she uncovers an act of unimaginable treachery by those she trusted most and learns that everything she knew about herself was a lie. Her paternal grandmother, the woman who raised her, is behind a number of devastating secrets Kate is compelled to discover. But the deeper she digs, the more betrayal she finds, changing her life in ways she could have never foreseen. And now a review:
REGAN MURPHY SAYS: Shattered Lies by S. J. Francis is the story of what happens when people commit unspeakable acts and then try to cover them up with ever-expanding lies. Our heroine, Kate Thayer, is a veterinarian, running her family’s horse farm in Mississippi. She has been raised by her grandmother and led to believe certain things about the death of her parents when she was just a child. As usually happens with deep dark secrets, Kate discovers the truth accidentally, and her life is forever altered.
Shattered Lies is the story of the cruel, inhuman things man does to man, and the tangled webs we weave trying to cover up our heinous behavior. It’s a heart-warming and heart-breaking tale of a young woman who discovers that everything she believed about herself, her parents, her very life, is nothing but a lie. I’m giving Shattered Lies 4.3 Stars.
