Happy Sunday, and welcome to Autumn!
from A Question of Faith, sequel to A Question of Honor. Ty Randolph is going to meet his match, Rosalind Summerton. Here Roz is explaining her male-female philosophy

"Woman meets a man, he’s perfect except maybe he doesn’t go to the opera or would rather watch football than go for a walk with her. He’s not perfect, he’s not Mr. Right he’s just Mr Right Now, Mr. Almost Good Enough, Mr. I Can Fix This if I Try. If he’s the right man, he’ll want to make her happy and if going to the opera makes her happy, presto bingo, they go to the opera. Not every weekend, sometimes she goes by herself. Sometimes she watches football with him and sometimes she goes for a walk on her own. Because they are or should be two complete people who are better for being together, not two disparate beings who can’t function without being joined at the hip.”

My most recent release is RED, RED ROSE ... the third in a trilogy of MM romance-mystery novellas. This is a 129-word snippet:

Damn bloody Thomas Fitzgerald, using his own tactics to force a confession.
Och, great sex works every time…

Burns rolled into his lover’s big muscled body and buried his face in his chest, allowing time for his ass to stop throbbing and his heart to slow down.

Thomas had been in this gabled prison for just a few hours, and already the place had lost much of its gothic grotesqueness.

Can fear be just a state of mind? Can love solve every fucking problem, like the poets say?

Thinking about fear and about love, he began to talk to the only man who’d ever shared this bed with him, the one who’d also begun to share the more edgy parts—like his mind and his heart and his soul.

I've just found out that my novella CHILL OUT will release from The Wild Rose Press on January 4, 2016. Here's an excerpt:

The bedroom door swung open and Renata stood in the opening wearing a short robe that revealed her lovely legs. A light floral fragrance drifted to his nose—he envisioned a field of flowers. Spike brushed past her and entered the room.

“Oh! I didn’t realize you were with Spike.”

“I’m sorry. When he gets a notion, he’s pretty hard to stop. I’ll get him out.”

“No, that’s okay. I don’t mind having him in my room. Besides, I doubt you could make him leave if he doesn’t want to.”

She was probably right. “You’re sure? He snores something awful. And did I mention the drool?”

She smiled. “Yes, I discovered the delights of sleeping with Spike last night. But I have to admit, I kind of like having the big lug around.”

“You’re sure you don’t mind?”

“I’m sure.” She took a step backward, holding the door between them. “I should get some sleep.”

“Yeah.”

She hesitated, as if waiting for him to speak. For a moment he thought she was going to invite him into her room. But then she swallowed and lowered her gaze.

“Goodnight, Noah. Sleep well.”

“Goodnight.”

She quietly closed the door. Noah’s heart beat frantically as he stood outside. He wanted her in a way he hadn’t felt in a very long time, a deep primal urge, an overwhelming desire. Should he knock, ask to come in, ask to spend the night with her? Should he throw caution to the wind and let her know how he felt?

He raised his hand, ready to knock. What if he’d misread the way she’d responded to his kiss? Were his feelings for her simply a product of their isolation together? If she made love with him tonight, would she later regret it?

Fear slapped him in the gut. He couldn’t face another rejection. He let his hand drop to his side and walked to his room.

Hello one and all! Looking for an exciting read unlike anything you've ever read before? A family saga, epic, women's fiction/mainstream and contemporary? My debut novel, Shattered Lies was just released on Oct. 24th, 2015:
She wants to know the truth, but some secrets might be better left alone…
Kate Thayer has a good life as a veterinarian, running the family horse farm—until she uncovers an act of unimaginable treachery by those she trusted most and learns that everything she knew about herself was a lie. Her paternal grandmother, the woman who raised her, is behind a number of devastating secrets Kate is compelled to discover. But the deeper she digs, the more betrayal she finds, changing her life in ways she could have never foreseen. Who do U turn to when the one person u ever trusted turns your world upside down? Here’s an excerpt:
“This is my mother’s journal,” Kate said.
“Is it?”
Katherine didn’t look at her, which puzzled Kate immediately. Whenever they spoke, her grandmother always gave her utmost attention.
“Where ever did you find it?”
“In the attic,” Kate said.
Katherine’s eyes widened. Kate noticed her grandmother’s lower lip quiver or was it just her imagination?
“The attic? I don’t want anyone in the attic.” Katherine was abrupt. “It’s dangerous. You could have been hurt.”
Kate ignored her concern. She wanted answers. “Yes, she wrote this apparently just after she married my father.”
“Did she now? Well, I wouldn’t worry about it. There’s nothing worth reading in there. You can burn it,” Katherine said.
“It belonged to my mother. Why would I want to burn it?”
Katherine’s gaze was steady and unmoving. “Your mother had very little to say when alive. I doubt there is anything of value in there.”
Kate shot to her feet. “How dare you, Gran?” Katherine had never mentioned Kate’s mother, ever, and to hear such coldness in the words about her astonished her.
Without warning, Katherine seized the journal and threw it into the nearby trashcan. “There is nothing in there for you to worry about. And that is where it belongs.”
