Stellar Reviews!

We all know great reviews validate the story crafting we do. While single review sentences can say a lot, sometimes we'd like to share more. That's exactly what this meme is about!

In comments, share up to 200 words from a terrific review. It doesn't matter how much time has passed. All reviews are new to someone. Don't forget your buy link and website/blog link. Have fun!

A recent review for one book turned out to be an endorsement of the series. It's by talented writer Kenna Greebo Neuenberg:
Every once in awhile, a book/series comes along, and the characters work their way into your head and your heart, and they grab hold and refuse to let go. Thomas Fitzgerald and Burns ... are two of those characters. I honestly can't tell you now much I love these men, especially Thomas. Ms. O'Quinn made them perfect...absolutely perfect. I wish I could tell you exactly how much they have touched me. They take my breath away. Their powerful love for one another is so palpable and so...beautiful. I'm sure there are a lot of other words that can describe it, but I'm at a loss.

I don't want to give you any spoilers. "Red, Red Rose", and the previous novellas in the "Burns-Fitzgerald Mysteries" series are to be you can absorb every nuance. They're pure poetry, but they're also exciting, and oh, so sexy. Gay romance is my genre of choice, but I like my men to be of a certain type. I want them to be strong, smart, and masculine. I want them to love deeply even as they crash together, tongues and teeth gnashing, an erotic wrestling match of sorts, and I want to hear them whisper filthy, yet tender, words to each other. Thomas and Burns give me everything I want and much, much more...

Please, please, please read this series. It will move you, I guarantee it. Thomas and Burns are men who will touch your soul. I should add a plea to Erin O'Quinn...give us a sequel or two. The world needs more of these men.
Funny you should ask, Greebo. The fourth one is out (see below); and the fifth (THE UNIC0RN'S SECRET) is in progress.

From a recent five star review for House of the Rising Son:
Cheyenne, left home ten year prior and has been living off the radar from his father ever since. But he can feel that things are coming to a head, and doesn’t know what to do about it. The one friend he thought he could trust, is more than likely selling all his secrets to the one person he doesn’t want knowing them.

Alexander, is in law school, his father also has his life planned out, graduate, join the family firm and marry the girl they have picked out. None of which he really wants to do. He has been secretly lusting after the HAWT singer/musician for months and the more he fantasies, the more he realizes he’s life is a shame.

When Chey and ‘Zander finally meet, they have the insta connection that is hard to miss or stop reading about. In fact, this whole book I read in one day, all 260 pages. I couldn’t stop.

‘Zander discovering multi things about himself, that in fact, he does have a backbone and will stand up to his father.

Chey, his raw sexual chemistry, and talent. The cuteness we witness between him and the kids. All Just amazing.

An excellent book from Helen Pollard that was an absolute pleasure to read, such a delightful story, so warm & charming. I enjoyed it so much I found it difficult to put down & was rather sad when it ended. I look forward to the next book from this talented writer.

My 3yo daughter loves this book! I read it to her for the first time last night and as soon as I was done she said "again, Mommy?" She even had me read the bios at the end! I am sure this book will be a favorite in our home for years to come!
