From my brand new Scottish novel, The Highland Lass!

At first, she thought she had found a rare letter from Robert Burns. Then the flowing black script made her hesitate. It was too modern and the verse too amateurish. But there seemed little doubt that whoever wrote the letter may well have been her natural father.

“You do know we’re in the air now, don’t you?”

Hearing the amused, rich Scottish tone, Eilidh frowned and opened her eyes.

"Once Bitten, Twice Seduced- Revenants 1"

Addison sat wide eyed as Luke removed his jeans faster than she thought humanly possible. He picked her up from the couch and before she knew it, she was laying on the plush cream colored throw rug. Luke sat back on his heels and pushed her t-shirt up to her neck, exposing her naked body underneath.

Nora Connolly has had nothing more exciting in her life than lighting her bangs on fire while trying to flambĂ©. That is until her house gets raided and she finds out her boyfriend was actually a CIA agent turned traitor. When he escapes custody and begins stalking her she turns to the only man she knows can protect her, the man she’s been in love with since high school. When Nora shows up on his doorstep looking for protection, Jack Coleman tries to turn her way. Staying sane with Nora’s sexy ass was already hard enough, but keeping his hands to himself while living with her to keep her safe would be more than even his rock hard control could handle.

From my debut novel, Trancing the Tiger (Chinese Zodiac Romance Series, #1).

"She pressed her hand against his pec in an effort to break them apart, but his chest rumbled. Almost like a purr. 'Eyes on me, Lucy.'"

Coming soon: Hadean—Threshold of Extinction

Shouting rolled like thunder from the Murphys' house.
"Your husband's bad day seems contagious."
"Anger is like that." She wrapped her arms around her body and turned slightly toward her front door. "Well, thanks again."
Andrew nodded once.
A bang split the air.

From my latest WIP ~ tentatively titled ~ Soar Into His Heart ~ a shapeshifter erotic romance ~ from Chapter Twenty-one, the last written SIX sentences ~

Or they could spend the night at The Talbot's Peak Inn -- reputed to be haunted by an American Indian Shaman.

Once Gloria set a basket of baked goods before him, Drev munched on the treats he allowed himself when in town. At the same time, his mind spun with scenarios of how to protect Keina.

No doubt Tretorff schemed like the depraved ass he was to abduct her. Although, his filly girl was darn good at defending herself, as he'd discovered when they romped and tussled in the snow.

Anxious, even though he psi-sensed Keina remained safe with his brother, Drev kept an eye on the end of Main street while reading the movie critic, Ralph the bear's column, always good for a laugh.

Wishing you love and passion on the wild side ...

Daisy's Dilemma is coming soon from MuseItUp and continues the story of Lady Daisy Mellon who first appeared in Mariah's Marriage by Anne Stenhouse. In this short extract, Daisy shows her true colours:

Mariah's Marriage
“I think this must be the man who was supposed to be escorting you yesterday, Miss Fox,” Lady Daisy said. “I recognise him from the earl’s description: too old, too fat, and too stupid.”
Mariah breathed deeply lest she faint. Social niceties could be readily abandoned by anyone, it seemed. She heard Tilly’s hasty cough in the hall and knew it would be covering a snort of laughter, such as she made when the baker’s boy stopped by in the kitchen.

Happy Sunday!
Opening sentences to AWAKING THE ALPHA:

Blaze Canis, shotgun unloaded and broken over his right arm, walked with the relaxed ease of someone used to a hunter's stealth and patience. He was early for his job at Markell's Shooting Range in West Yellowstone, which wasn't far from Montana's west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Many washings had faded his Wranglers, and his black Roper boots had lost their shine. He wore his blue denim shirt tucked in with the sleeves rolled to mid-forearm. The bandana tied around his neck was black.

Montana had few gun restrictions, but you did need a permit to carry them concealed on your person. You definitely needed a permit to carry them open or hidden in the park. Blaze's handguns were prominently displayed, holstered from his belt in back and on one hip.

His lips touched hers. Fire ripped through him as she leaned into him and he felt her pelvis against his leg. There was no question that he was falling into hell, but it sure felt like heaven.

From The Cowboy's Little Surprise by Barbara White Daille:

“Does everyone in Cowboy Creek know what you never took the trouble to tell me?”

She forced herself not to recoil from the venom in his tone. “No, nobody—” Thinking of the confidences she had always shared with her best friend, she choked off her automatic response.

“And what have you told your boy? ***My boy***?”

Here's a few lines from latest release ONE MORE SECOND CHANCE:

He stopped abruptly, his chest heaving. Closing his eyes, he averted his face and took a deep breath. When he turned back to her, his steely control was back in place. “So yeah, if I have even the smallest suspicion that a child has been abused, I’m going to ask questions. And I’m not going to apologize for it.”

Here's a bit from my contemporary romance, Summertime Dream:

“You need to take some time to relax and enjoy yourself now and then. If you enjoy fishing, you should.”
“I am taking some time to relax.” He cupped her cheek and lowered his mouth to hers. “I am definitely enjoying myself,” he murmured against her lips. “I can’t think of anything I want more than being here, with you.”
She brushed her lips over his, meaning to be light and airy, then back away. But he held her and deepened the kiss, changing everything.
