Stellar Reviews!

We all know great reviews validate the story crafting we do. While single review sentences can say a lot, sometimes we'd like to share more. That's exactly what this meme is about!

In comments, share up to 200 words from a terrific review. It doesn't matter how much time has passed. All reviews are new to someone. Don't forget your buy link and website/blog link. Have fun!

I am promoting one today I just received. From a UK reader, it goes like this:

"A wonderful mix of angst, mystery, hot men, dirty horny sex and original language."

A fabulous review from a reader across the Pond who knows my stories pretty damn well. Thanks, Fiona Rachel Warner. =D

I was eager to find out how Burns & Fitzgerald, two very different men, could ever move forward in their tentative relationship. This final installment RED, RED ROSE did not disappoint. The author focuses on their growing affection for each other in her usually descriptive and poetic manner, and the love that blooms just like the red rose in the title is just so uplifting.

This is not written like a regular mm romance, but it is just as sexy and engaging. It just has the added benefit of Erin O'Quinn's unique writing style that manages to transport the reader to the very heart and soul of the story. A wonderful mix of angst, mystery, hot men, dirty horny sex and original language. Fabulous...I live for the day their story continues intertwined with Rory and Alejo from the Nevada Highlander series...

6 DAYS OF YOU by Sophia Ryan
Snowbound over fall break, two heartbroken strangers find warmth and comfort in each other. Before it’s over, they’ll have to find the courage to face the love rising from the ashes of their blazing week of sex.

Think of the most bizarre example of mistaken identity and it won't even come close to the scenario that author Sophia Ryan has put together in SIX DAYS OF YOU.

Lily decides to surprise her boyfriend with a visit, only to discover he left town. With very little money, coupled with a massive snowstorm, Lily has to stay in her boyfriend's dorm room. The only problem is her boyfriend's roommate, Daryl.

As the snow piles up outside, the temperature heats up between the two. What follows is a passionate encounter as Lily waits for her sister to pick her up. The story includes snippets from each person's viewpoint. This provides an added level of depth to the storyline.

Although the events are focused on the span of six days, the author packs in plenty of surprises for the reader. The chemistry between the two characters is well developed with a nice bit of heat added.

Nothing is as it seems in this story, which makes it hit high on the memorable list.

From Librarian Lavender (Suze Likes, Loves, Finds & Dreams):

"A wonderful story about two people who deserve a chance at happiness. There's also a little bit of mystery ... that gave the story a nice edge. I loved the atmosphere, the big house in the middle of nowhere and the cozy fires. Together they're the perfect setting for a romantic story. I liked this book a lot, it's both sweet and heartwarming."

A Long Trail Rolling

From Amazon: 5 stars… Pony Express as it really was! by Lyn on October 1, 2015

Apart from having a tender romance at its core, it is full of intriguing and fascinating facts woven in with the fiction. Lizzi Tremayne obviously knows what she is talking about, her extensive research and knowledge make this almost like reading an exciting documentary – except that the characters are so well drawn the reader can’t help but relate to them and suffer with them on their journey, especially Alex herself. I love the way the horses are also characters in their own right. As a horse lover myself I was pleased that Aleks really cared about the horses she rode, and the description of each horse makes them come to life – especially Scout the black ‘Appy’. I used to know a black Appaloosa stallion, and Scout could have been modeled on him. As might be expected from an author who has the equestrian and veterinary experience and qualifications Liz has, the details about the horses, their tack and treatment of wounds etc., were convincingly written with an air of authenticity that made the story totally believable. This book is full of surprises and even the villain is not quite what he seems. The story kept me guessing all the way.

Thanks for Reading!

Dragon Destiny - For a human, a dragon form comes with more than just the freedom of the sky.

Snippits from the Reader's Favorite review site. 4 stars.

Helen B. Henderson gives the reader a powerful tale of young love, of holding back, of understanding and of making life work.

You find yourself being pulled into the story and not wanting to put it down.

I would easily recommend this to teen readers all the way up to adults. Worth reading and one enjoyable read!!
