I decided to write under my real name, because by the time I actually started writing I was a bit older. So proud of my work, I needed to see it published under my real name so there would be no mistaking who the author was. I was "shy and retiring" in high school and college. No one who knew me then would believe that I could write erotic romance. No one in my family would believe it either. But I do, and I'm damned proud of it. Sometimes I think I'll write non-erotic or non-sensual or with "closed door" love scenes. Then, at the computer I close my eyes and luscious, sensual details come to me, the lyricism of kissing and caressing and making love takes over, and there it is. Open door love scenes. I can't be sorry about it. It's a whole heck of a lot of fun. And I am eternally grateful to Whiskey Creek Press Torrid for publishing my first book, Ancient Ties. Thank you!

Ancient Ties is being re-released and is available now.
Nursing a broken
heart, Janney Forrester flies to England for a much needed vacation. She gets
one—and much more. A drive through the countryside and the sight of a
mysterious heavy gold bracelet found nestled against ruined walls draw her across
the crumbling stone threshold of an ancient villa where she beholds a Roman
room in perfect historical detail. To add to the unreality, there's the most
gorgeous, masculine man she's ever seen, her every sensual fantasy personified.
Confusion by what's happening to her vies with attraction when Janney is thrust
two thousand years into the past.
Roman soldier Marek
Benin Verus considers the woman suddenly appearing before him as a gift from
the gods. Zeus knows he needs one! Battle fatigued and emotionally scarred
after fifteen years in the army, he's on a leave of absence and has all the
time in the world to devote to seducing this beautiful woman into his bed. He
doesn't plan on the powerful and dangerous emotions she inspires in him.
Marek's hard,
muscular body is too luscious to resist. Janney decides to risk the comfort of
her safe life and carpe diem—seize the day. Marek seizes her body and
takes her to the edge—and over—to an ecstasy she never knew existed. Can a new
world for her, timeless desire, and a loving exploration of each other's bodies
forge a passion that survives centuries of separation?
The Long Road To You
The Brothers Agee - Nick
Nick Gabriel, orphan, outlaw,
reformed man, yearns for what his brother Jake has—land, a home, and best of
all, a loving wife. Nick pulls a woman off a rearing horse, slamming her sexy,
lithe body against his, the impetuous action setting him up to lose his heart.
Margee McPherson's whole world
revolves around running the ranch her father left her and handling the creepy
ranch foreman she also inherited. Years before, she'd made a mistake that ended
tragically. Now, she won't allow the drifter cowboy, Nick Gabriel, to get
anywhere near her no matter how tall, dark, and handsome he is, and how much
she longs to be in his arms.
Both have secrets in their pasts.
Will Margee's fear and guilt keep her from moving forward with her life? Nick's
fallen in love with the beautiful rancher. Can he prove to her his roaming days
are over? And will they survive their past secrets, finding the love they
didn't know they craved?
Home to Stay
Nickie Grace moved to Parkersburg to rehab an old house and
forget a disastrous marriage, but a prowler threatens her newfound peace. The
vandalism gets more personal and creepier with every instance. It's a small
town, and the investigating deputy, Hank Crossman, is everywhere. Nickie's not
ready to get involved but she can't resist the hunk's seductive moves -- or the
adorable stray dog he adopted. A summer affair might be fun, not to mention
that with a sheriff's deputy guarding her body, how much safer could she be?
Deputy Hank Crossman loves to play the field. He's a
commitment-phobe, who keeps everyone at arm's length, including his alcoholic
father and the stray he's named simply 'Dog.' Now, he's determined to seduce
Nickie Grace. Fortunately for Parkersburg, he takes his job much more seriously
than he does his affairs. His frustration at not being able to solve the
perverted and dangerous crimes against Nickie grows along with his attraction
to her, and despite the dangers they become immersed in an intense lust-affair.
Then Nickie almost loses her life, and Hank discovers that
everything that's been happening is because of his past. He wants to bolt, get
out of her life, but this time he just might come home to stay.

Jane--Your new title caught my eye. Lost and Found is the title of my second romantic suspense! Sounds like a great story (completely different from mine of course!). Congratulations!
