The first five lines from Chapter One of my latest release, My Valentine Adventure.

“They did what?” Parker Townsend clutched his cell phone so hard he thought it might break. His throat constricted as his older brother laughed on the other end of the receiver. “I can’t believe they did this. What the hell am I going to do, Niles?"

From Bringer of Chaos
No matter how horrific or grisly their wounds, Ultras survived. Disease did not touch them. Starvation did not stop them. Only one thing slowed them down. Death. But even death didn't hold them long.
Humans called them soulless, inferior, and unworthy. They were immortal as well.

The first five lines from my w.i.p. debut novel. 'Not Too Old for Love'.

Grace jabbed at the volume button on the remote control, turning up the sound on her favourite programme and trying to drown out the chatter that filled the lounge. It had been like this for days and she’d grown tired of it. Who would have thought the imminent arrival of one man could affect mature ladies like this?
One of the things that had appealed to her when she moved to this Retirement Village was the lack of men.

Here are the first five lines from ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID, my contemporary romantic comedy:

This was it. Definitely. She'd never be a bridesmaid again. She really meant it this time.

Daniella DiPietro pasted a smile on her face as she walked slowly down the aisle to the strains of "Here Comes the Bride."
