From A TAMING SEASON, A Love at Lake George Novel:

Zoe's sunglasses tumbled into the sand, and she heard Jason chuckle as he bent to retrieve them.
He straightened, but made no move to hand them over. Slowly, he brought them to his lips and, staring into her eyes the entire time, blew gently on the lenses, one at a time, to free them of sand.
Christ.

Thanks for Snippet Sunday, Rose!
Here's a snippet from BEACHCOMBER HEAT

Dane watched Shana reach back with both hands and lift the heavy mane of hair off her neck, arching her breasts forward and exposing the glistening pale column of her throat. Her head was thrown back, supported by her long bare arms gleaming with a film of perspiration. He stared and held himself as still as a mountain—with an effort. He wished they were anywhere else on the planet besides Captain Colin Lynch’s office at State Police Headquarters on Martha’s Vineyard.

Thanks for Sunday Snippet, Rose!

Here is a snippet from THREE-WAY WEEKEND, my debut novella.

Javier glanced at him. He did look hungry, but not for food.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jeremy whispered.
"Quiero hacerte el amor toda la noche."

My Snippet is from DOMINATED BY THE DRAGON, my latest release.
She heard the driver’s door open and the sound of him pulling on some jeans. He’d covered up—darn it—but as he slid the van’s side door open, she almost drooled over his sculpted chest. How he could ooze sensuality when mud plastered his torso was beyond her, but she wouldn’t care if he never put a shirt on again.

From my latest release, Hellhound Bound (writing as D. Thomas Jerlo):
When he tried to ease her down to the couch, she refused to let go. Touching him was real. Hell, he was better than reality. Somehow, he managed to stop the world from crashing in around her. She sensed that if she let go, she’d collapse completely. But she was no candy-ass dame who whimpered if she broke a nail. If she had to cling to him for a few minutes more, so be it. She’d get her shit together, just not this instant.

This from my sweet(er) romance, Cowboy in Charge, part of The Hitching Post Hotel series and just released this month:

He raised his fist again and rapped on the apartment door. The wood sounded hollow, just the way his chest felt—if you didn’t count his heart banging against his ribs.

Inside the apartment, a television’s volume dipped, then a little boy’s voice cried, “Mommy!” in stunned outrage. A second later, the doorknob rattled, the door swung open, and he stood staring at the girl he’d left behind.

Here’s a snippet from my Edwardian romance ‘A Valet’s Duty':

Rafe had talked about his former lovers and asked Henry about his romantic past too. Henry knew it was highly inappropriate to discuss his sex life with the earl’s brother, but he couldn’t refuse his affable enquiries. And he couldn’t stop himself picturing Rafe in each situation he related — secretly holding hands in Hyde Park, kissing in dark secluded corners, making love in a fire-warmed servant’s room.

From Feasting With the Enemy

"Seductress," he said in a husky whisper while caressing her hair. "You always were irresistible, May."

"I'm glad you still think so."

He grasped her arms and tugged her on top of him.

From THE RENEGADE WIFE (October 2016) in which the hero and heroine get off to a rocky start.

My grandmother is Ojibwa; my father was French; and my husband was a Scot. You can despise whichever one of those your English heart chooses, or even all of them, but I am not a thief.
