Here's a snippet from A LITTLE ELFY IN BIG TROUBLE:

Bruno wished he could lift his head to look at Sarah; she was so pretty, and he loved her so--he ached with it--why couldn't he...why, oh why...?

Then, he felt her hand touch him, and energy coursed through his veins and sinews and whatever else energy courses through, before he was finally able to let go. "Oh, no!" he heard, right before he passed out. "It's not supposed to do this!"

Morgan D'Arcy: A Vampyre Rhapsody - Linda Nightingale

“When you touch me, I feel…I don’t know…electrified. A good kind of zapped. Who are you really? I know you’re an earl, a concert pianist, da-duh-da.”

And a four-hundred year old vampire. “There you have it. Me on the half shell.”

From THE LAST VAMPIRE STANDING, published by Class Act Books:

Over my shoulder, I saw four dim red glows in the darkness to the side of a bin. I turned back to the bag on the lid, opening it and taking out a small Styrofoam clam-shell.

A hand touched my shoulder. I jumped, whirling around to stare into a shaggy face that would’ve sent a Siberian husky into love-spasms.

“Hi, Mer.” Dustin’s werewolf smile was a fang-filled extravaganza.

Excerpt from THE HONEST RAKE, Book 1 of the McCoys series, published by Class Act Books:

Rollo hurried over to seize the flung-away pillow, plumped and returned it to the bed,
saying as Donal leaned against it, “Came in foxed last night, did we, sir? Perhaps had a little too much of the heavy wet?”

“Bite your tongue,” Donal groaned. “A gentleman never drinks malt barley. Besides, you’d know the answer to that if you waited up for me as a good valet should.”

“I did wait up, sir,” Rollo replied, a note of reproof in his tone. “Until near three. After that I’m afraid I fell asleep. When next I awoke, you were already here…face down upon the bed.”

From RUNAWAY BROTHER, by Icy Snow Blackstone, published by Class Act Books:

Cam was standing near the mailbox, peering inside. The interior was
large, about a foot square, and from where he stood Liam could see dark garments and a pair of shoes tucked neatly inside.

“It’s just like Carlo Liguori said. Certainly a tight fit, getting it all in there,” Cam confirmed, hands hovering around the door as if wanting to touch it but knowing better. “Pair of shoes. Man, look at that shine! Dress Oxfords, black wingtips.
Navy suit jacket and trousers. Label says Dolce & Gabbana. Tie neatly rolled and inserted inside one of the shoes. Looks like silk. Can’t be sure without taking it out, though.” He bent, looking closer. “Here’s something odd.”

“What’s that?” Liam's his answer only half-attentive.

“There’s no underwear. Do you know what this means?”

His partner looked around. “Either our boy doesn’t wear any or he’s running around in his skivvies?”

<"Yes. I disobeyed." He forced out the response in a strangled whisper.

"You betrayed your lords for a short-lived female animal." >
