Here is a snippet from my new sci-fi/shapeshifter release CAPTURED & SEDUCED

The ship bucked, and Camryn’s stomach dive-bombed south again. Yesterday she’d have welcomed a reunion with Gabriel. Now, in the face of death, she learned she wanted to live.

The Witchy Wolf & the Wendigo (book1) by Rose Anderson
http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B004XDGWL6
...........................................
Kneeling beside the skeletal remains, Ash dusted his hands in the soil around the bones and rubbed the precious dirt over his face and chest in renewed mourning. Tears of grief leaving muddy streaks down his face, he took a deep breath and focused his mind. Fur and claws appeared as his body reduced in size and once more the wolf stood where a man had been but a moment ago.

This is from "Waking Dream" (book #5 of the Dream Series)

We can hurt each other. Whatever we do to each other in the dream, we’ll do it to ourselves for real.

Mariah felt a warm blush stain her cheeks. This man was flirting with her. How had she allowed herself to become an object of gallantry?

from Legally Undead, by Margo Bond Collins:

When you stick a wooden stake into their hearts, vampires don't disintegrate into dust; they don't explode; they don't spew blood everywhere. They just look surprised, groan, and collapse into a pile of corpse. But at least they lie still then, like corpses are supposed to.

From PASSION'S CHOICE, my sensual time travel to Ancient Egypt, available today at Amazon : http://amzn.com/B00LBO3N4Y

Tears of agonized indecision boiled in Elissa’s eyes; she wanted to go back to her own world, but this man also had a claim to her heart, this man who had loved her, had protected her against her enemies and was now willing to lay down his life for her safety. He had brought her not only to the fullness of bodily passions such as she had never known, but he had expanded and altered her emotions, making her feel and see with her heart as well as her mind. She could save him, she knew it... but only at the cost of losing her way home.

These are some fun snippets! Here's mine, from my romantic mystery, I DO. . . OR DIE:

You just don’t expect to see gunfire at a wedding.

I know, because I’ve been in a lot of weddings, despite my well-known aversion to them. “Always a bridesmaid, never a bride” is not just a cautionary adage, it’s my personal credo.

Dangerous Games--see first chapter on GoodReads

“Good, because you’re a bad enough boy that we aren’t going to play any games tonight,” he said as he reached for the condom. He tore the paper and rolled the latex into place before delivering another hard tap to Kinsey’s ass.

Thank you. Great snippets. Here's mine from Cursed in Shadow Book 1.5 Legends of Oblivion:

I eased her chin up and she looked into my eyes. “We are one heart.” I kissed her and relished in the sweetness of her mouth for we could do little else with company.

Lily's Summer Cowboy

A man sat on the rocking chair, spinning a white Stetson on the toe of one of his boots. A striped western shirt hung open over a grey t-shirt snugged against a flat belly and faded Wranglers pulled over taut thighs.
This was Maggie’s grandson?

This snippet is from the first kiss between hero & heroine in my historical romance, Rogue's Hostage:

The anger, frustration, and desire that fired his blood merged into an overwhelming need to kiss her. He claimed her mouth with his own, smothering her lips, knowing the kiss was rough and aggressive, but unable to stop. He wanted to silence her, subdue her, and make love to her all at once.

Alice was moving more slowly, the cascade of water diminishing, her jacket fading, her solid outline beginning to blur. And then she saw him, and her eyes wrinkled. Her hand reached out and her lips moved, and beneath the streaming water Nick knew that she was crying out to him.

Snippet for "Twisted Love," 12 true cases of love gone bad- a biography true crime anthology available in July from Black Rose Writing

Tagline: "Twisted Love," is a collection of true crime cases from Ohio and surrounding states, featuring riveting cases of obsession, lust, murder, secret lives, and sexual depravity. It showcases the chilling reality that homicide investigators know all too well: the last face most murder victims see is not that of a stranger, but of someone familiar.

This is from my upcoming River City novel CAMPAIGN (Brad and Ryn's Story) that should be releasing the end of this coming week. Katheryn "Ryn" Demary is mute from a riding accident as a child.

She closed her eyes, reached up, and slightly tugged the scarf from her neck revealing what was left of the scars that crossed her throat.
When she opened her eyes, he was staring at her. The color had drained from his face. The slight shake of his head told her that he now recognized the situation and it was slowly sinking in.

You never have to read the River City novels in any particular order but it's fun if you read them in order. Each is meant to stand alone.

Brooks chastised himself. Raw from his break up with Xavier, he wasn’t here to score a lover. After a decade of love and devotion, Xavier had left him for Amber. Amber! A woman for Chrissakes!

Here is a snippet from The Club 4: Displayed by Suzy Shearer. Available from http://www.bookstrand.com/the-club-4-displayed

Kendra turned and faced her audience. Soft music was playing in the background of the Club, k.d. lang’s “Sexuality,” and she was swaying slightly in time with it. Then slowly, she undid the buttons on her blouse, she moved it apart, and then let the sides drop over her arms before the shirt dropped to the floor. Rubbing her hands across her breasts, her nipples hardened and became visible through the thin fabric of her brassiere. She reached behind to unclasp it, then, holding it in place with one hand, she dropped the straps off her shoulders.

The books can be read as stand alones but it is better to read them in order to learn about the characters inhabiting The Club
